It would be great if anyone tell me how to avoid duplicate content on online shopping sites.

Thank you in advance.

Write your own descriptions for each product on your site.
Seriously, that is all there is to it. There is no magic, just hard work really write a description of your own unique product.
If you try to take the easy way out with cut-and-paste from the description of the product vendor or using a description of the products included in the seller's product feed, product description you will almost certainly be duplicates of other sites that sell the same products that you do and which also has taken the easy way out.
Even if you write your own product descriptions, when you cut-and-paste product description from one page to the next, you will simply be duplicating themselves. (Referred to in some circles as "shooting themselves in the foot.") If you have a product that is very much like you can use the same description for each (possibly only change one thing, such as color or size), consider combining them into one "master" product with some variations.
Think of it this way: there are fast, some are cheap, and there is good. The problem is - you can only pick two.
Fast + cheap = use the product feed or cut-and-paste. It will not be long, it does not take a lot of work, and it will be subject to filtering duplicate content by the search engines.
Good + = low write your own unique product descriptions. It will not cost you anything out of pocket and your description will be unique. The downside is that it will take time and effort, especially if writing does not come easily to you.
Rapidly + Good = hiring a talented writer (or two, or a few) to write a description of a product that is unique to you. It will not take much of your time, but it will cost anything from pocket (especially since you can not hire a writer really good for beans).
Your time, your money, your choice.

Try to create unique content for the website. If you have content that is the same for two or more pages then you can use the canonical tag. This will help to avoid duplicate content issues.

You should try to analyze your competitor's website about how they market their products and goods on their web. Usually they use generic terms such as good, best, cheap and affordable then be creative in improving basic terms become more attractive asset on your website.
