The best way of getting traffic

I am really annoyed by this question, what is the best way to get traffic and backlinks for a website? Is blog comments or forum posts the best method?

I think the forum posts is the best way to get great traffic and backlinks from blog comments, blog commenting yet is also quite helpful ....

For me the best strategy is a forum post. If you post content in a forum which is active then your signature link will be cached in some time. But the problem with the blog comments is that you can not control from the link you comment on a blog post. If this blog autoapprove then you will get a heavy spam comments there and afterall there is any benefit from these links.

I have to say both are useful. But the forum posting faster to create one-way backlinks blog comments but slower because you can not build backlinks to the blog owner wants to build. But you can build backlinks to the forum if you keep the rules of the forum. But for the traffic, I think the blog is more effective in this regard.

Blog comments are not good, from my standpoint, because I have seen there is a blog site that allows anyone to post comments, there are a large number of spammers just post their links on there, and the page is completely filled with a large number of links, say 1000 and I finally believe that blogs will lose its value, on the other hand, there is the possibility of a link on a web page that will be black listed by Google - this is the type of blackhat SEO, so I stopped doing blog commenting, forum posting is obviously great, giving some traffic.
