Has anyone found that the websites that have Google ads, likely to be given a better ranking by Search Engine and, given that Yahoo and Google have joined their resources to deliver better results, also gave preference to those forum and websites that display their ads or sponsored links?

I've run Google Ads (BPS AND CPC) and engage in other forms of link-building and website exposure.

Google Ads is good to get visitors, but you have to watch the bounce rate, and the rate of new visitors (you can use Google Analytics). I found that when I started running Google Ads, my rankings on Google began to rise. It could just be a coincidence, but I had very little exposure to other sites during the time I was running Google Ads. I see that I have a lot more search results when I search for the name of my site, because it seems advertisements embedded in another page of the site shows up in search engines as well.

I found the best way to improve organic search results submit to hundreds of directories. I know that Google says that the directory is not so important, but my site has a PageRank 0 for two years, and the main keyword search results are placed my site around # 20-30. After submitting to a directory, my Pagerank get to 2, and the main keyword search went to # 8-10.
