Where to get a picture legally!

Hello, members
I do not want to look for pictures and want my business to be above board in all respects. I have a nutrition site that requires a lot of pictures of the food and the only place I've found really expensive, around $ 35- $ 50 per image.
Is that the average price to pay? If it is not fun you can recommend where I can go to find a better deal.
Thank you very much!

I used to like iStockPhoto.com but once Getty Images bought them, their rates skyrocketed to about $ 75 per photo.

I use a lot depositphotos.com now. They do not have much available as iStockphoto, but for the price ($ 1 - $ 5 on average), they work well.

I saw photodune.net for some pictures sometimes. If they do not have what I was looking for so I went to iStockphotos.com. They are two legal ways to obtain photo

Find free stock images can be a pain and David Farah presents a big list.
A month or so ago I bought a product called Stock Image machine which seems to work for me to help search and posting my pictures.
I'm sure there are some other cheap products out there to help find a different repository and manage them for you.

There are a lot of free images out there. But finding just the right people when you need them is not easy. Time is money and it makes more sense to go to a site filled with good image and get what you need.
