I just use common sense (free)
Involved in a market where ....
1. You have the knowledge
2. You have a lot of experience
3. You enjoy creating content
4. You're in it for the long haul
5. You can add value to the web
6. You can help people

Simple, just use the Google Keyword Tool and sign up for Google Adsense. When you search for a keyword (on the Google Keyword Tool) you will see average CPC (Cost Per Click) from Google Adsense. The higher it is, the more profitable the niche (keyword) is.

I usually start from the free Google Keyword tool ... (free)

Then I head to one site and advertisers research supply and demand ... (free)

Then if I need more confirmation, I will run a Google search for niche keywords to see what other sites rank for keywords looks like .. (free)

You really do not need to spend money on tools ... I've tried everything ... I am above method works best for me!

There are many different methods to find profitable niches, that usually means that there are excellent products available for the niche that you are looking for, because if there is no, so you have nothing to sell.

But if you have a variety of products in a specific niche and then do a search, or have a way to find popular searches or to research prices for specific niches, you can then determine how much traffic you could be getting these products.

If you have solid products, with a strong demand, so you have a solid business.
